Little Bees ( Age 3-6)

Duration 30-60 mins session  

The objective is to learn the language informally, and with all the senses, through games, singing, movement, painting, and above all fun. The emphasis is placed on understanding the language and speaking freely. The vocabulary is slowly but steadily increased with many age-appropriate teaching materials and games

Why learn English at an early age?    The benefits of learning English for children ages 4 to 6 are many: better memory skills, richer vocabulary, more thinking flexibility, better critical thinking skills, and more. Children in a preschool-age can become bilingual naturally and effortlessly with the right resources, and this can contribute greatly to a child’s overall development.

Schedule of a session 

Fun activities/ games 8-12 mins (objective is to motivate a child with his/her participation and to create a positive attitude towards learning)
Nursery Rhymes – 8-12 mins (objective is to teach the child to pronounce words)
Colouring – 8-12 mins (objective is to learn the vocabulary, recognize colors by words, pictures, and sounds, and to practice asking and answering simple questions)

Once in two sessions, a story will be read instead of a nursery rhyme. 

Even though the schedule looks a bit tight, there will be adjustments to have a smooth flowing of the session especially according to the child’s mood and enthusiasm. Maybe one activity will be dropped completely from a session. Therefore This is just an outline and session will be led, matching the ongoing conditions/constraints during a lesson.
